Women's Health and Pregnancy
Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care as well as health issues that are unique to women, including:
- Pregnancy
- Menopause
- Conditions of the Female Organs
Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.
Our goal is to ensure the health and readiness of all women at every stage of life.
Women's Health Services
The Women’s Health Clinic, also known as the Gynecologic Surgery and Obstetrics Department, is the premiere destination for total obstetric and gynecologic care at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center! Services are available to active duty service members and dependent beneficiaries.
We serve women and children of all ages through routine preventative medicine such as well-woman exams,
contraception, and cervical cancer screening.
Additionally, our providers are equipped to address gynecologic concerns including, but not limited to:
- Vaginal discharge
- Pelvic masses (i.e., fibroids, ovarian cysts)
- Endometriosis
- Pelvic pain
- Abnormal uterine bleeding
- Infertility
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Incontinence
- Menopausal symptoms
Lastly, our clinicians are adept at providing obstetric care, from conception through the last prenatal appointment before delivery.
Patients identified as high-risk during the intake process may be referred for care to the maternal-fetal medicine specialists at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. When it's time for delivery, a military provider and/or nurse-midwife will deliver your baby at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital and provide any other inpatient obstetric services that may be required.
The Women’s Health Clinic providers and staff are committed to providing excellent, patient-centered care and look forward to connecting with you!
