Airman Medical Transition Unit (AMTU)

The Airman Medical Transition Unit provides leadership, complex case management, and comprehensive transition planning in support of wounded, ill, or injured (WII) Airman during their recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration phase of care.  

Mission

Provide compassionate, effective comprehensive care coordination and administrative support to ill and injured Airmen and Guardians with complex medical needs, and the non-medical attendants or care-givers that support them..
