Influenza Vaccine Update
Flu season is upon us. We are concerned about your health and encourage everyone to get vaccinated annually against influenza.
It’s critical that everyone who is able receives a flu vaccine. It’s essential that active duty service members, active duty family members and other beneficiaries are well-protected from influenza.

Latest Update: Flu Vaccine Available
The Flu vaccine will not be administered in the 316th Medical Group’s Immunization Clinic. Due to limited vaccine supply, the medical group will be administering the flu vaccine in phases. You must bring your CAC as a valid ID.
As of 20 September 2021:
- Who: Active Duty Service Members
- When: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Where: 1658 Starkey Ave., Joint Base Andrews, MD, 20762
Other Options for Getting the Flu Vaccine
If you’re unable to get the flu vaccine here, you can visit any participating network pharmacy or TRICARE-authorized (civilian) provider. Visit www.tricare.mil/flu

A Note for Active Duty Service Members
Active duty service members are required to get the flu vaccine. If you get a flu vaccine from anywhere besides the Malcolm Grow Medical Clinic, follow your Service policy guidance for recording the vaccine in your shot record. You'll need the following information:
- The date the vaccine was given
- The vaccine name or code
- Lot number
