Banholzer Clinic 

Previously known as the Pentagon Flight Medicine Annex, renamed after the 14th Presidential Pilot, Col. David D. Banholzer. 

Who We Serve 

We provide premier health care and same-day access to the: 

  • Presidential Airlift Group 
  • Special Airlift Mission Wing 
  • Other Presidential Support Duty members in the National Capital Region and their families 

We are the Air Force’s only dedicated Presidential Support Clinic to support PSD medical clearances at Joint Base Andrews. 
 
We provide full spectrum primary care, aerospace and occupational medicine, outpatient procedures, and travel medicine, fully integrated with acupuncture and complementary medicine.

Elective/Cosmetic Surgery 

Active duty service members must have MTF coordination and unit commander approval before scheduling or receiving surgery. Elective surgery is defined as non-emergent surgery at the member’s expense, performed by a civilian or military physician, and is not covered by health insurance.
