Pre-Operative Care (Pre-Op)

Our pre-operative staff assist patients with preparation for a successful surgical intervention. They will ensure that all pre-procedural paperwork, preparation, and interviews are accomplished. While in pre-op you will be able to discuss your plan of care with your perioperative team.  This team consist of your pre-op nurse/medical technician, OR nurse, Anesthesia provider, and the surgeon.

Post-Operative Care (Post Anesthesia Care Unit-PACU)

(ADD) After the surgical procedure patients recover in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.  During your stay, care will be continued by the PACU nurse and medical technician with oversight by the Anesthesia provider. This area allows patients to recover from the anesthesia in a safe and stable environment. At this time, we ensure that patient’s pain is controlled and they are medically stable.
