Special Missions Auxiliary Clinic

Previously known as the Pentagon Flight Medicine Clinic the Special Missions Auxiliary Clinic enrolls Department of Defense patients in direct support of national security missions and programs.

The clinic also enrolls and supports inactive aviators assigned to the Pentagon, and provide support to the Joint Staff, staff assigned to the Secretary of Defense, and Secretary of the Air Force.

Services Provided

Clinic services are limited to members assigned to the Pentagon.

• Travel medicine
• Alternative medicine

Pharmacy

No on site pharmacy services are available; Pharmacy services are through any National Capital Region military clinic or the DiLorenzo Pentagon Health Clinic Pharmacy.

Laboratory

No on site laboratory services are available; Laboratory services are through the National Capital Region military clinic or the DiLorenzo Pentagon Health Clinic Laboratory.

Elective/Cosmetic Surgery

Active duty members must have MTF coordination and Unit Commander approval prior to scheduling or receiving surgery. Elective surgery is defined as non-emergent surgery at the member’s expense performed by a civilian or military physician and is not covered by health insurance.
