Laboratory & Blood Draw
Our Laboratory and Blood Draw department plays an important role in guiding the health care you receive at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center. Roughly 80 percent of the information used by physicians to make important medical decisions is obtained by clinical laboratories. Our goal is to safely perform timely and accurate laboratory testing in a professional and customer-oriented environment.
Diagnostic support is provided to healthcare providers for the management of patients to help diagnose or rule out a suspected illness or condition. Preventative tests and screenings performed in the laboratory can also help to prevent, find, or manage medical problems.

Beginning Oct. 3, 2022, Malcolm Grow Medical Clinic's Laboratory Department will transition to an appointment system. Walk-in services will still be accepted, however, beneficiaries with a lab appointment will have priority. The appointment system is intended to better serve beneficiaries as we upgrade to a modernized federal electronic health record, MHS GENESIS.
Appointment scheduling will become the standard for laboratory services on Jan. 3, 2023. Walk-ins after this date should expect longer wait times.
